Hello there,
I hope you're having a brilliant week already. I've got a big chunk of content for you today, so maybe save this till you get home if you're having a cheeky peek whilst at work. ;)
Printing Progress Underway!
Here are some pics and a quick video from the factory of the game's manufacturing underway, including the Divider cards. Did I mention about adding Divider cards into the base game? Not sure I did, but I wanted them for my copy, so I'm sure you will want them too, so there you go, have some beautiful Dividers at no extra charge. :D They're labelled on one side and unlabelled on the other side, so you can write on that in case you prefer a different storage method to us.
Addresses Locked?
I had to lock the addresses so that we can determine how many items to ship to each hub - this doesn't mean shipping is commencing to backers now, just that shipping is due to commence from China to our hubs in July. If you need to change your address in the pledge manager there is still time, just email [email protected]
Final Sleeves Count
For the sleevers amongst you, here's the final card quantity that went to print (assuming you don't need to sleeve the dividers!)...
Kreel Manor (431 cards!!):
281 regular (63 x 88mm) Cards
118 US sized mini (41 x 63mm) cards
32 tarot sized (70 x 120mm) cards

Hello there,
Progress Report
Printing is now underway, estimated to complete in July. This will be followed by international freight shipping which may take a month or so. The final stage will be hub shipping to you guys, so we're currently looking at September/October for final delivery into your hands.
Playmats – Limited Availability!
Our beautiful playmats are made to order, so we only ever have a handful left over after fulfilment. A number of you have contacted us asking to add a playmat to your order (no doubt having seen how awesome they are in Ricky's videos). The answer is: yes, whilst stocks last we can add playmats and/or expansion heroes to your order, but the Kickstarter discounts have ended, and when they're gone, they're gone! So, if you'd like to add anything to your order, please email me and I'll set this up for you as soon as I get the chance: [email protected]
Ricky Royal Videos
'The depth of variability that this game is gonna give you - there's tonnes of adventuring to be had' - the dulcet tones of Ricky Royal AKA Richard Wilkins giving you a preview of Kreel Manor? What a smashing way to kickstart your evening! :D
Pre-Production Copy Approved + Final Rulebook!
The files have now been sent off to print. A huge thank you to all of the play-testers, and to everyone who gave sharp-eyed feedback on the rulebook, we hope it is as robust as can be. But as with all of our rulebooks, they live on, online. So if you have any constructive, actionable feedback, we can still make changes to the digital document if necessary, and you can always download all of our latest rulebooks at the following link:
We're going to keep this module free of charge until the physical game lands. If you're unfamiliar with Tabletop Simulator, you will need to purchase a copy of it to run this module, and this is not a video game – it's a virtual copy of all of the components of the game (and expansions), which you can move around and play as though you had a physical copy in front of you. So you'll still need to learn the rules/watch the Rolling Solo play-through video to play it. But you can group (G), flip (F), and randomise/shuffle (R) the cards at the touch of a button so setup and play is an absolute doddle.
This is going to be our last Fantasy Quest Game project for some time, so if you're missing any expansions or anything from Call of Kilforth, Gloom of Kilforth, or Shadows of Kilforth, this will be a great opportunity for you to grab them. And if you're new to the system and/or if you want to try a different core game, you'll be able to do that too.
It's also a chance to explore our award-winning Historic Epic Battle System games – 1066, Tears to Many Mothers and 1565, St. Elmo's Pay – and to get to grips with Veilwraith: A Veil Odyssey Game, the fiendishly addictive post-apocalyptic adventure game, which begat the system for Kreel Manor of course.
TLDR: our about-to-launch Gamefound campaign will be a fantastic opportunity to order:
Gloom of Kilforth base game and expansions
Shadows of Kilforth base game and expansions
Call of Kilforth base game and expansions
Veilwraith base game and expansions
1565, St. Elmo's Pay – The Great Siege of Malta Card Game
1066, Tears to Many Mothers – The Battle of Hastings Card Game
These games will ship within a few weeks of us receiving the final data and funds from Gamefound, so:
Delivery will be imminent,
Prices will be insanely discounted,
Orders are limited to our available stock only.
So, kinda like the Kreel Manor playmats, when they're gone, they're gone!
And that's all for now, cheers and have a wonderful rest of your week!

Hello there,
Exciting Tidings!
The files have gone to print!
The Pre-Production Copy (PPC) has arrived at my house and it looks fricking awesome!
The final rounds of play-testing are wrapping up - and the feedback has been brilliant!
We will now go through the PPC with a fine-toothed comb, along with all collated player feedback, because we still have the chance to catch any typos or other fluff ups before I confirm that the final mass production of the games is to go ahead.
Rolling Solo have delivered an epic play-through video (see below).
Our super talented friend and backer, the marvellous Chad Sheretts has put together a Tabletop Simulator module so we can all play Kreel Manor online.
Pre-orders for Kreel Manor are still available here while stocks last:
We are a bit giddy... :D

Hello there,
Rulebook!
The first pass of the Kreel Manor: The Dungeon Crawl Card Game rulebook is now up for your perusal at the following link. Please let us know if you spot any typos or need any clarifications! :D
We are now sending the files to the printers for the pre-production copy. This means we still have time to change things based on the final rounds of play-testing and rulebook feedback, but also represents a ginormous leap forward towards final production too. :)
Shadows of Kilforth
'Love this series – the more I'm playing Kilforth, the more I'm appreciating it,' AzureDeath is digging all three of the Kilforth games. And if you missed out on any of our Kilforth Fantasy Quest Games, stay tuned for news! :D
Cheers!

Kreel Manor Update 13 – February 2024, Another Massive Upgrade: Bigger, Better Cards!
– Thu, Feb 22, 2024 at 06:15:20 AM
Hello there,
The files for the game are nearly complete, we're just going through them for typos and prepping them for the final round of play-testing before sending to the printers. And yes, we've given the game another massive upgrade:
Card Size and Art Increases
All 93 Skill cards that come with the game – or a whopping 155 Skill cards if you've ordered both of the hero expansions – have been upgraded from US mini sized to regular sized (63 x 88mm), with bigger art, added flavour text, and explicit rules text for clarity. Initially, the plan was that each Skill deck was going to feature the art of its connected hero on every card. But since we've built up an insanely gorgeous library of over 1,000 beautiful images of the people and creatures of the World of Kilforth over the years, I've gone through every pair of Skill cards (there are two copies of each Skill in the game) and handpicked a unique piece of art to fit every single Skill, so the decks are an absolute visual joy to play through.
Mastery Cards
I've added a few new cards here and there too, bringing the current total number of cards (I'll update this again when we're printing, just in case I get carried away again) across the game to a ridiculous 429 cards – or 512 cards with the expansions – with new Mastery Skill cards added to each hero.
Masteries are unique, final 'Super Saiyan' mega skills placed at the bottom of each hero's Skill deck at the start of each adventure. You might not see them every game unless your hero is built to sift through your deck more quickly (pipe down, Night Ravens), but when they finally do show up, the dungeon denizens will be quaking in fear. That said, burning through your entire deck is not always a great idea as the cost to your Spirit may come at an inconvenient time...
Furthemore, all of the previously US mini sized cards (41 x 63mm) for the Actions, Assets, Statuses and Wounds have now been upgraded to standard Mini cards (44 x 67mm).
Call of Kilforth : Another Masterpiece!
Rob's Tabletop World shared this incredibly lovely, and glowing review of Call of Kilforth, 'This is why we play games, for experiences like this, and people who put their heart and soul into things like this – Hall or Nothing is the best card game company out there.'
Wow – thank you Rob!
If you missed your chance to pick up any of our other Kilforth games, and want to see what all of the fuss is about, check out our website here:
And that's all for now – cheers, and have a brilliant weekend ahead!
